Homecare services are part of the wider network of social care organisations and have been confirmed by Government as one of the groups acting as an essential partner to the National Health Service in combating COVID-19 and have been given ‘keyworker’ status.
- We are making good use of technology to help keep our recruitment process safe by using video calls and telephones to conduct pre-screens and interviews.
- Our induction training is delivered by webinar to minimise contact time but ensure people have an interactive and quality learning experience.
- We have processes to help us conduct mandatory recruitment checks quickly such as DBS/PVG and reference checks.
- As part of your uniform will be provided with the correct PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in accordance with government guidelines.
- Our branches are being cleaned thoroughly at set points throughout the day using anti-bacterial cleaners and staff are working in shifts so social distancing can take place.
- You will be supported in the workplace by experienced colleagues and full training (including infection control) will be provided.
- You can work for us on a full time, part time or temporary basis – on a flexible hours contract. This is not the same as zero hours contract as you have full employment rights.
